Some Knitting Advice Needed Please

This is the beginnings of a tubular scarf which in the past I have finished by working a row of double crochet which gets hidden by a thick woolly fringe anyway. This is a requested item and the person doesn't want a fringe, so I have cast on with a provisional cast on and was wondering which finishing technique would work best. Three needle cast off or grafting with kitchener stitch on the ends, can anybody share their knitting wisdom with me?

Thanks in advance and also while I am at it a big thank you Suzi for organising our new site, ahhhh just what I need another distraction hehehe!

I have no answer, though I suspect that grafting a la sock toes would give you the best finish.
Isn't our new blog lovely???!!!

I was going to suggest the same as Cindy. I think that grafting would look good if you don't have a fringe.
